India’s dynamic social landscape reflects the varied cultural traditions and national origins of its citizens, leading many Indians to be concerned about human rights in the lands of their ancestors. The Department of Human Rights and Ambedkar Studies offers a strong foundation for a spectrum of teaching, research, training and advocacy activities, paving the way for the emergence of a humane social order.
